Barrie Pipes and Drums solo competitors and Grade 5 band pushed through the high heat and sunny skies at the Cambridge Highland Games on Saturday. The band placed 2nd overall and we are looking forward to the Durham Highland Games on July 25th!

On Saturday, our Grade 5 Competition Band headed for the shores of Lake Huron for the Kincardine Scottish Festival. It was a great day for us, winning Best Pipes, Best Drums, Best Bass and 1st Place in Grade 5.
More than half of our band also camped out at the Inverhuron Provincial Park. We had a great time and only had 2 noise complaints! Not bad for a pipe band!

On Saturday, June 27th, we held our very first golf fundraising tournament, "The Highland Classic". The weather was wet for the entire week however it managed to hold off for our entire tournament. We had good golfers and we had...........first timers! At the end of the day, we raised some much needed funds and had an awesome time.
